Giving a iPod from the late 2000s a new face and a new life.
With a Battery Upgrade to increase the capacity significantly, a SD Card Adapter to use Solid State Storage and a new Shiny case, this 7th Gen iPod Classic looks like brand new while keeping it’s old style of simple Hardware made to do one thing.
Since then it’s my daily driver and filled to the brim with music and podcasts. Although it’s not as reliable as it was nearly 20 years ago when it was brand new, but the battery like of roughly 2 days of constant use and small features in the OS from back then makes it still nice to use. I highly recommend finding one for cheap online and refurbishing it to give it a new life.
